You’ll be taken through the rich history of producing wine in Crete, an area with a tradition of thousands of years in the production of wine from a plethora of exceptional local varieties and of course, you will be able to taste the famous Cretan wines. You will be introduced you to the wines of the most significant vinification zones of Crete and enjoy behind-the-scenes spots of the wine-making facilities and cellars. The tour will conclude with a delicious Greek mezze tasting and a light lunch with the well known Cretan specialties.

Arrival at Stilianou Winery. A small, family owned boutique winery, which produces high quality organic wines. You will have the opportunity to visit both the wine cellars and the vineyard next to ancient wine presses and a byzantine chapel. A home grown, hand picked wine experience rewarded with a delicious tasting.

Arrival at either Boutaris or Lyrarakis winery. Both wineries have contributed to the renaissance of Cretan wine. You will enjoy a mezze style Cretan lunch at the winery's terrace overlooking the vineyards. Top quality rare wines personally selected by our sommelier will pair your meal. At the end of your food and wine tasting you will stroll in the vineyards with a glass in your hands.
